Madeline & Co. and Excelsior Edge Ventures ("we," "us," or "our") are running the 11-11 campaign, including the campaign website, application flow, Luma event page, selection process, communications, and related founder programming (collectively, the "Campaign"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and the choices you have.

This policy applies to:

• the 11-11 website;

• the 11-11 Luma page and related application forms;

• campaign-related emails, social follow-ups, interviews, and orientation;

• communications you send to us about the Campaign.

• We collect the information needed to run the Campaign.

• We do not sell personal information.

• We do not use your application materials, founder submissions, or campaign communications to train or fine-tune foundation models (including third-party foundation models) at this time.

• We do not run ad-based tracking or build marketing profiles at this time.

If any of those change, we will update this policy before enabling the new use.

3. Information we collect

3.1 Information you provide

• Application information: name, email, phone number, LinkedIn, company or working title, domain background, idea description, startup stage, and anything else you submit through the application.

• Founder materials: decks, links, websites, prototypes, written responses, and any other materials you choose to share.

• Selection information: interview scheduling details, interview notes, and participation in orientation or related campaign programming.

• Communications: emails, messages, feedback, support requests, and replies you send to us.

• Optional Madeline usage data: if you use Madeline & Co. as part of the Campaign, we may receive the information needed to operate that experience.

3.2 Information collected automatically

• Campaign usage data: page views, clicks, referral sources, timestamps, and basic interaction data on campaign pages.

• Device and network data: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, language, and approximate location inferred from IP.

• Security and audit logs: access logs and related records used to protect the Campaign and related systems.

3.3 Information from third parties

• Application / event platforms: if you apply through Luma or other form tools, we may receive the information you submit there.

• Analytics and infrastructure providers: limited technical data used to understand reliability and performance.

• Community partners or nominators: if someone nominates you, we may receive your name, contact information, and a short note about why you may be a fit.

4. How we use information

We use information to:

• operate, administer, and improve the Campaign;

• review applications and evaluate founder fit;

• schedule interviews, selection calls, and orientation sessions;

• communicate with applicants, nominees, community partners, and selected founders;

• run the campaign website, Luma page, and related workflows;

• monitor performance, reliability, and security;

• prevent fraud, abuse, or misuse of the Campaign;

• comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

5. AI processing and founder materials

If founder submissions or campaign materials are processed through Madeline & Co. tools as part of campaign review or venture-building workflows, that processing is used to support the Campaign and generate outputs requested by the team.

AI-generated outputs can be incorrect, incomplete, or biased. Human judgment remains part of the process.

Model training note: We do not use your application materials, founder submissions, or campaign communications to train or fine-tune foundation models at this time.

6. How we share information

We share information only as needed to run the Campaign:

• Service providers: hosting, forms, analytics, infrastructure, storage, scheduling, and communications tools.

• Campaign operators: Excelsior Edge Ventures and Madeline & Co. team members involved in reviewing, administering, and operating the Campaign.

• Community partners: only where needed for nomination context, coordination, or founder routing, and not for their independent marketing use.

• Legal and safety: to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, and protect rights, safety, and security.

• Business transfers: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.

We do not share personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies primarily for authentication, security, analytics, and core site functionality.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies at this time.

8. Analytics

Retention periods vary by data type. You can request deletion as described in Section 11, subject to legal, contractual, and security requirements.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing.

If campaign tools provide in-product controls, those controls apply.

If you access the Campaign from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States and other jurisdictions where we and our providers operate.

The Campaign is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
